Apprentice and Trainee Management Services

North Coast Recruitment delivers a high quality specialist service that can source and manage Apprentices and Trainees for host employers operating in a wide range of industries.

Apprentices and Trainees are employed directly by North Coast Recruitment as per the relevant modern award or agreement applicable to the host employer. Our contract rate is an all inclusive hourly rate that covers wages, annual leave, personal leave, workers compensation, payroll tax, superannuation and training costs.

As a host employer, you only pay for the hours an Apprentice or Trainee works at your workplace. Hours for training, public holidays and leave are not charged.

All Apprentices and Trainees are screened through our recruitment service, which includes conducting interviews, checking the validity of licences and qualifications, completing reference checks and administering, where required, computer based skills and aptitude testing.

All Apprentices working in blue collar environments are required to satisfactorily complete pre-employment medicals and hearing tests and WorkCover approved OH&S training prior to commencement.

The work and training performances of all Apprentices and Trainees are regularly monitored to ensure they meet workplace and training requirements. We liaise closely with TAFE and have a dedicated Supervisor who visits all trainees and apprentices on site regularly.  Any issues affecting our Apprentices and Trainees are addressed in consultation with host employer representatives and training providers.

Our approach is to work in close collaboration with host employers to ensure the highest possible service is delivered to both host employers and individual Apprentices and Trainees.
